The Potters

Here we had the pleasure of working in a stunning new-build designed by Dan Gibson Architects. The Potters family commissioned us to produce a bespoke plywood kitchen for their stunning Manchester home, together with living room furniture that would sit perfectly within this amazing space. We needed to answer all of the client’s technical requirements, and interpret their ideas, in order to create a dream space that they can now look forward to enjoying with their family for decades to come. To create this stunning open and airy kitchen scheme, we used a mixture of oak veneer and pops of the Potter’s favourite colours, aqua and pink, laminated upon our signature plywood carcass.

Client Comments

We were lucky enough to design and build our own house and the kitchen's plywood structure and oak veneer finish, with pops of bright colour perfectly complement the modern feel we wanted. Aside from the drawer of tea and a fantastically useful pantry cupboard, the shelves are my favourite thing. Not only do they give us somewhere to display mugs cards and vases but they give a definition to the open plan room the kitchen sits in. The shelves tell you a lot about the teams ingenuity and attention to detail. They turned a structural pillar into an opportunity. They even asked how tall we were so they could make sure the shelves between the wall and the pillar were at the right height so that we could still see the a view of the distant hills. When you see photographs of our kitchen what you can't see is what a genuinely lovely process it was working with Wood & Wire. Open, friendly, good listeners and receptive to ideas and creative in their thinking and solutions. We felt like it was a genuine collaboration.
