Quooker Tap – The tap that does it all

Introducing the Quooker boiling water tap. Helping to simplify your kitchen life by reducing worksurface clutter and the time spent waiting for the kettle or pan to boil. Did you know that Quooker was the first to launch a tap that dispenses 100°C boiling hot water? Invented and patented back in the 1970’s by dutch engineer Henri Peterie, it would be 20 years later before a viable boiling water tap was brought to market by his son Niels.
Carefully designed with multiple safety features such as flow safe, child-safe handle, and insulated spout, the Quooker hot tap is a safe choice for families but the benefits of a Quooker don’t stop here. With everyone asking “Are Quooker taps expensive to run?” we’re delighted to say that maintaining a Quooker tank only uses 10KW of standby energy, which is about the same as a modem and less than a kitchen boiler. And with boiling water at your fingertips at any time of the day or night, you only use what you need. Waste running water is also saved, as there’s no more waiting for a running tap to reach the desired temperature.
Quooker didn’t just think about the tap, they thought about the tank too. Again with consumer needs firmly in mind, the Quooker tank range is compact, designed to sit in the cabinet under the tap away from the working area. Each tank is fitted with a high-temperature activated carbon filter which helps to reduce calcium. For further benefits, your can now combine your Quooker water tap with the Quooker CUBE system to dispense cold filtered water as pure as you’d buy in a bottle or for sparkling water, helping you to save on plastic bottle waste and throwing away water that’s gone flat.
Hot, cold, boiling, cold filtered and sparkling water……. all from a single tap!

Safety
We’re often asked, “Are Quooker taps safe?”. Quooker taps have a number of safety features built-in which make them in our opinion a much safer option than a traditional kettle. Let us explain.
Flow Safe
The water flow from a Quooker tap is different from other taps. Instead of dispensing a solid stream of boiling water, the Quooker delivers a stream of fine drops instead. This means scalds and hot splashes are very much reduced.
Child-Safe Handle
The handle of a Quooker tap is sophisticated by design and won’t operate until it is depressed twice before being turned. This means that the risk of dispensing boiling water ‘accidentally’ is very low.
Insulated Spout
Every Quooker instant hot water tap comes equipped with an insulated rotatable spout for precise aim when filling vessels whilst remaining cool to the touch.
Energy Efficiency
Quooker has always designed with sustainability in mind. Using the minimum amount of energy required for production, Quooker strives to prevent waste. They use 88% renewable materials in their packaging, have a 100% electric vehicle fleet. 51% of the electricity they use is self-generated and 81% of their waste is diverted from being disposed of.
