The Maxwells
The Maxwells built a generous extension onto their Georgian townhouse, creating a space for this fabulously sophisticated pink and grey plywood kitchen, dining and lounge. A unique feature of this kitchen is the multi-purpose island unit and dining table, featuring a continuous-run HiMacs top returning to the floor at one end. What we like most is the Maxwell’s trailblazing choice of pink for their kitchen: an unusual choice but one that works so well. Here, the colour really challenges the conventional association of pink with fluffiness, instead bringing an element of fun and surprise that might inspire others to use pink in their next kitchen project.
