Oak veneer was the main material choice for this clients bespoke plywood kitchen and was designed to maximise light in this Birchcliffe townhouse, Ako's Japanese influence is apparent in the mixtures of natural wood finishes, white surfaces and lighting design, which together creates a fresh and relaxing environment.

The kitchen is finished to such a professional and quality standard that it's certainly going to stand the test of time. The lighting is well designed too and works perfectly with the changing light of the day as well as creating atmosphere to suit our activity. The work surfaces and cupboard doors are so easy to clean and look so beautiful you want to clean it all the time - which is good when you have a little child! Overall we are very proud of our kitchen and so happy with how it 'makes' our living space.
